Questions from the Audience

I received my first official question today.

While at work, a gentleman called on behalf of his small group, wanting to know the answer to what may, or may not, be an important factor in deciding whom to support:  Am I married?

We did not go into the reason why he and his group wanted to know, but I must say that I am awfully curious.  Is this something that would make or break someone’s decision to support my candidacy, or did he just ask out of curiosity?   Should I be concerned that my marital status could negatively impact my campaign?

While I do suppose some may take my marital status into account, I will be honest and say that I’m really not too worried.  Maybe some day I will get to find out just why that gentleman asked.

And for those of you out there who are also wondering: No, I am not, nor have I ever been, married.

Registration Day

Paper work: Filled out
Initial meetings: Scheduled
The ball: Rolling

Registration opens this Thursday, February 23, 2012!

You know I'll be first in line, but it's still possible a fellow Republican may run against me; so there could be a primary election in my future. Therefore, I will need your help getting my name out to the community. I would also love to hear from you regarding the local events you find most important, so I can be sure attend; because if it’s important to you, then it’s important to me. So let me know!

Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for more information in the Baxter Bulletin along with other media!  And don’t forget to subscribe to my blog so you can stay up to date with this year’s election of District #10's Justice of the Peace.
